We’re honored to announce that Guys Reading Poems has been chosen for the Audience Award for Best Feature Film (Drama) at the 25th annual Woods Hole Film Festival.

Director Hunter Lee Hughes was on hand in Cape Cod to pick up the award and said, “After working our asses off for three years to make this film, it’s so gratifying to know that the Woods Hole Film Festival audience liked our film enough to give us an award. Our whole team is so grateful for the acknowledgement and for audiences giving us a chance to tell our story.”

The film’s next stop is the Breckenridge Film Festival in Colorado, where it will screen on Friday, September 16th at 3 p.m. Guys Reading Poems premiered at the 21st annual Palm Beach International Film Festival, followed by a West Coast premiere at the 19th annual Dances With Films and a screening as a Centerpiece Selection at qFLIX Philadelphia. More screenings will be announced soon.
