Christos Vasilopoulos

Christos Vasilopoulos was born and raised in Athens, Greece. He started acting at the age of 17, as a stage actor, and graduated from the “Iasmos” Athens drama school. After his graduation, he became a member of the National Theatre of Greece for four years.

After seven years of continuous work in the theatre and tv commercials, Christos landed a series regular role on one of the biggest daily shows of that time before moving to Los Angeles. His credits in United States span six movies, including the last film of Zalman King, commercials, a guest star role in the tv hit series The Closer and Blindspot as well as the recurring role of Olek in the Alan Ball television series Banshee. Christos will soon be seen in a recurring role on the TNT series The Last Ship.

Christos has a third dan black belt degree in Tae Kwon Do and a blue belt Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
