an energetic, infectious laugh encased in a body that knew how to dance.
You were the adventure we met online,
a friendly emoticon turned fellow sojourner of the night.
You were the mother we trusted,
a vivacious embodiment of family driven to celebrate all in her tribe.
You were the love of our lives, not quite expressed.
All evenings draw to a close, eventually. Final hours turned final minutes.
Last call.
The screams.
The terror of bullets and blood.
The insane logic of unpredictable slaughter.
All these might dictate a sudden, startling loss of your faith.
But know that you…
Friend, Lover, Mother…
Restored ours.
