Guys Reading Poems will screen in competition at the 25th annual Woods Hole Film Festival on Thursday, August 4th at 7:00 p.m. at Falmouth Academy. The festival is known for highlighting films with top-notch cinematography. Woods Hole Film Festival will be the New England premiere of Guys Reading Poems, after world premiering at Palm Beach International, with screenings at Dances With Films in Los Angeles and as a Centerpiece Selection at qFLIX Philadelphia. The screening will mark the first time Guys Reading Poems has screened in competition.

Director Hunter Lee Hughes will appear in person for the screening and participate in a talkback with the audience. Of the film’s acceptance at Woods Hole, Hughes says, “It’s such an honor to screen at Woods Hole Film Festival, especially since it’s their 25th anniversary. Our inclusion there speaks very highly of our cinematographer Michael Marius Pessah, whose work in black-and-white is so critical to our film’s success.”
