Christos Vasilopoulos was born and raised in Athens, Greece. He started acting at the age of 17, as a stage actor, and graduated from the \"Iasmos\" Athens drama school. After his graduation, he became a member of the National Theatre of Greece for four years.<\/p>
After seven years of continuous work in the theatre and tv commercials, Christos landed a series regular role on one of the biggest daily shows of that time before moving to Los Angeles.\u00a0His credits in United States\u00a0span six\u00a0movies,\u00a0including the\u00a0last film of Zalman King, commercials, a guest star role in the tv hit series The Closer <\/em>and Blindspot<\/em>\u00a0as well as the recurring role of Olek in the Alan Ball television series Banshee<\/em>. Christos\u00a0will soon be seen in a recurring role on the TNT series The Last Ship<\/em>.<\/p>Christos has a\u00a0third\u00a0dan black belt degree in Tae Kwon Do and a blue belt Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.<\/p>
