We had a terrific time at our February open mic, when our theme for the month was, “In Tribute To….”<\/p>\n
Poets and readers gathered at Shaky Alibi at our regular first Thursday of the month, this time to dedicate a poem\u00a0to their mothers, sisters, friends, lovers and even to our veterans. Among our special guests were Guys Reading Poems actors Jerod Meagher, Megan Sousa, Daniel Berilla and the film’s director Hunter Lee Hughes.<\/p>\n
To be part of the fun in March, when our theme is “Love\/Heartbreak,” just text “RSVP” to 424.34.POEMS. As always, we’ll be at Shaky Alibi the first Thursday of the month – March 2nd – at 7 p.m.<\/p>\n
