Alright, alright, alright…we know Matthew McConaughey was a big winner last night, but we FEEL like winners here at “Guys Reading Poems.” Why???<\/p>\n

Within the last 48 hours, we’ve had more new backers than the first 48 hours of our campaign.\u00a0<\/b>That’s very RARE for Kickstarter and it means that we are picking up momentum. (Check out the whole list of backers below!)<\/p>\n

Also, we’ve just announced our St. Patrick’s Day fundraiser, open to all in the Los Angeles area. “American Horror Story” actor Alexander Dreymon serves on the hosting committee for the event. Alexander and I got a chance to spread the word about “Guys Reading Poems” at the recent L.A. Premiere of “Like the Wind,” the brilliant new feature film by director Marco Puccioni starring Valeria Golino (Remember her from “Rain Man”? She is fantastic in this new film). Help us get the word out and we will roll out the red carpet for “Guys Reading Poems” soon enough!<\/p>\n
